BESTS OF THE NORTH (7 days)

Tourists are enjoying BESTS OF THE NORTH (7 days)

Itinerary:

Day 1: Hanoi arrival

Pickup at the airport by private car. Transfer to your chosen hotel.

Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2:  Hanoi city tour – Laocai (B,L)

We will pick you up at your hotel at 8:00 by bus, we take you to visit Ho Chi Minh complex, including Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum - the final resting place of Vietnamese great father or Uncle Ho, President Ho Chi Minh's stilt house - where Ho lived in and passed away between 1958 and 1969.

Then visiting Ho Chi Minh's museum where tourists learn what he had done for Viet Nam and some other countries and learn all kinds of information about President Ho Chi Minh.

The next place is One Pillar Pagoda a group of structures consisting of a pagoda and a tower built in the middle of a square pond. Leave One Pillar Pagoda for the Temple of Literature the first college of Viet Nam dedicated to Confucian.

Have lunch at a restaurant at about 12:00. After lunch, drive to visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, Which is on the shore of West Lake.

The last place of city tour is Hoan Kiem Lake (Restored Sword Lake) with Ngoc Son Temple. Back to the hotel at about 3pm. Free to rest at the hotel until time to go to the station for the night train to Laocai (manage by clients).

Day 3: Laocai – Sapa Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van – Sapa (B,L,D)

Pickup at the station by bus. Transfer to Sapa town. Start 6km of walking down to the south east of Sapa along the side of Muong Hoa valley to Y Linh Ho village of the Black H’mong. A 2km-trekking down to Lao Chai village, through terraced rice fields to Ta Van village of the Dzay minority people. Lunch at a local family, it gives you a worth chance for you to learn about the local house architecture which is full of their daily life styles and exclusive custom. Enjoy the landscapes…on the way. Get back to Sapa by jeep or motorbike.

Day 4: Cat Cat & Sin Chai – Sapa – Laocai - Hanoi (B,L)

Pickup at the hotel at 8:00. A walk down to the South-west of Sapa (around 4 km) to visit Cat Cat village of the Black H’mong. Relax at the food of the stunning waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station that was constructed by the French during the colonial time in Vietnam. Enjoy picnic lunch by the side of the river, and then next 6 km to Sin Chai, the village located at the foot of Fansipan Mountain, “the roof of Vietnam and Indochina”. From here you can enjoy huge stunning landscapes before climbing up on the way back to Sapa. Free until time for transfer by shuttle bus to Laocai station for night train.

Overnight on the train.

Day 5: Hanoi – Halong (L,D)

Arrive the station in the early morning. Transfer to your hotel (managed by clients) and free until time for Halong bay tour.

8:00: Pickup at the hotel by bus

12h00: Arrive in Halong and embark Halong Cruiser. Guests are greeted with welcome drink, after that lunch is served while the boat cruises the bay to enjoy the beautiful limestone seascape. After visiting Amazing cave we stop at a floating house and go kayaking (optional program not included in tour cost) to Luon cave to enjoy the quiet atmosphere of the bay or relax on boat. Fresh fruit platter will be served followed by the dinner.

Overnight on board.

Day 6: Halong BayHanoi (B, L).

7h30: Sunrise breakfast and cruise around the clear & emerald water to another part of Halong bay with a close up view of stunning limestone peaks. You can watch the magical shape such as Evil’s face, Turtle islet, Drum cave…

9h00: Check out and keep on relaxing, boat goes further to Van Gia fishing village where you will have the opportunity to see the daily life of the fishermen. You enjoy relaxing and chatting with your fellow passengers. Have lunch on board with a variety of local foods, enjoying the rest of the boat trip.

11h45: Get back to Halong dock and disembark. Board the coach back to Hanoi. Drop off at the hotel at about 4:30.

Day 7: Hanoi departure (B)

Free until pickup for the departure flight by private car. Tour ends.

  • Itinerary would be changed a little bit without prior notice and depending on the weather.
  • Private tour will be arranged for group of 6 pax up.
  • Punctuality is a must for all tours.

  • Night train tickets in 4 soft berth AC cabin for Hanoi – Laocai – Hanoi (1st class on Tulico train or similar).
  • Join boat cruise as listed above for Halong bay tour (2 persons/cabin).
  • Join 16 or 24 seat van for transfer for the whole trip (depending on the No of participants for each tour).

Children and tour policy:   

  • Free of charge for children under 2 (sharing the same bed with parents)/25% if occupying an added bed.
  • 25% for children from 2- 6 (sharing the same bed with parent), 50% if occupying an added bed.
  • 50% for children from 6 – 12 (sharing the same bed with parent) and 75% if occupying an added bed.
  • 100% for children above 12 or children from 6 - 12 sharing the room with 1 adult.
  • Quotation is not applied on the period of New Year or national holiday. Surcharge will be advised upon request.
