Aiming to further lure tourists from Japan, from 14-23 September 2017, Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) will organize a series of activities to promote Viet Nam tourism in big cities of Japan.
As scheduled, the Vietnamese delegation with the participation of leading tourism enterprises will held roadshows to introduce new tourism products and policies of Viet Nam in 4 cities of Japan including Yokohama (Kanagawa) (17 Sept), Tokyo (19 Sept), Sendai (20 Sept) and Nagoya (22 Sept).
In the framework of Viet Nam Festa in Kanagawa due from 15-17 September, the delegation will take part in various cultural and art activities, and a conference on tourism investment promotion. The festa is an important annual cultural event of Viet Nam in Yokohama City, Kanagawa which is expected to attract more than 400,000 visitors this year.
On this occasion, the Vietnamese delegation will work with Japanese partners and tourism agencies in order to boost tourism cooperation development in the coming time.
In 2016, the number of Japanese visitors to Viet Nam recorded 740,592 arrivals, increasing 10.31% over 2015; and 518,028 arrivals in the first 8 months of this year, up 7.4% over the same period last year..
